GRS is an international, voluntary and complete product standard. The content is directed at supply chain manufacturers to control recycled product /recycled composition and regulatory chain, and to execute social responsibility、environmental norms, and chemical restrictions, and it is certified by a third party certification authority. GRS certification is aimed at meeting the requirements of enterprises to verifying recycled composition of products (both finished and semi-finished), and to verifying social responsibility、 environmental norms and chemical use. The purpose of GRS is to ensure that claims made on related products are correct and responsible. This standard applies to all companies who produce or sell GRS products. GRS requires that all products including processed, produced, packaged, labeled, sold and used must contain at least 20% recycled materials . The range of products to be certified is based on the textile product concept, but the scope of certification is not limited to the textile product industry. GRS can be applied to all companies in the supply chain, from all processing units to business-to-business (B2B) transactions.
