OCS is The Organic Content Standard.

It is an organic certification standard launched by American non-profit organization Textile Exchange. OCS are a certification that monitors the entire organic chain by tracking the cultivation of organic raw materials.

TE organization (Textile Exchange) launched the Organic standard for textiles in 2013 to trace and authenticate the content of Organic fiber in products. This standard was formally implemented on May 19, 2013, replacing OE Standard (Organic Exchange) which was launched in 2007.

The main changes of OCS compared with OE standard are as follows:

1、 the type of organic fiber is no longer limited to organic cotton fiber, but to expand to all organic fiber (including organic cotton, hemp, silk, wool, etc.);

2. The standard division is more specific, and the proportion of organic fiber is clearly defined between OCS 100 and OCS Blended standard.

3. The content of OCS is more succinct, and control of the process is based on the new CCS standard and CCS implementation guide which launched in 2013 (extracted from the original OE standard).

4. Designed a new standard logo.
